HECSTAB Webinar

This webinar serves as a showcase of HECSTAB's capabilities for creating models for direct geometry windage analysis and evaluating these models in Herbert-ABS Wind and HECSTAB. We will look at how to add 3D topside geometry to a HECSTAB model in Ship Project Editor. Then, we will analyze the model in Herbert-ABS Wind, looking at the applicable wind settings. After a preliminary analysis, data from the analysis can be used for other studies in HECSTAB, such as a Max KG study.

HECSTAB Webinar

This webinar serves as a showcase of HECSTAB's new capabilities for utilizing external 3D modeling software packages, specifically Rhino 7. We will be creating a new HECSTAB model from scratch, demonstrating our plugins designed for Rhino 7 and Grasshopper. These plugins, based on the HECSALV engine, allow for the quick and straightforward creation of models that can be used directly in HECSTAB. After a preliminary stability analysis, any design can be easily iterated on until the ideal result is achieved.
